VDL Translift aims to project an image and operate as an organisation that strives for quality, continuity and satisfied customers at all times. In doing so, VDL Translift complies with the applicable laws and regulations and its obligations in the areas of the environment and safety. To achieve this, VDL Translift has established a management system that safeguards all critical points relating to quality and the environment. Furthermore, this management system meets the requirements of NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, allowing its operation to be verified and confirmed by independent parties.
The scope of the management system is ‘Development and design, production and after-sales of waste collection vehicles’. This scope applies to the chain from bodywork on the chassis through to the after-sales process, including any outsourced (environmentally critical) processes at first-tier suppliers, such as welding or topcoating for purchased manufactured parts. All these activities are carried out at, or coordinated from, Staalwijk 7 in Dronten.
